It came as a surprise when you first reserved Uther, but now I can't imagine an Asgard cast without him in it. He's made such an impact on the Merlin characters and given them all opportunities to grow in ways that they might not have without his presence there. It takes a lot of time and energy to handle the kind of negative CR Uther gets, but you've done it all admirably well.
I think one of my favourite things about your Uther is the awkwardness that surfaces every so often. We see flashes of it in the series, but the scenes with him are mostly focused on his kingly, regal side. Seeing you bring out that side of him more often has been a treat. Though Uther is basically this scary figure to the people from Camelot, he is pretty socially awkward in situations that don't involve court, and you've played that up beautifully. It's fun to watch everyone else freak out and puzzle over some of his decisions in the game, and I especially love the amount of awkward that our Merlin and Uther threads contain.
You've taken this character and given him new life, I think. The way you write him is wonderful, and I'm really glad to have such a talented castmate in you ♥

I'm happy to be able to explore that side of him too, and I'm glad I'm not the only one enjoying it.
